Get six pack abs from home

Is it really possible to get six-pack abs from home?

Have you always dreamed of having six-pack abs? What’s stopping you? Are you like me and hate going to the gym? Do you hate working out in public? Are you extremely busy and lack the time needed to get to the gym or to workout?

What if I told you that you can get past all that and give you a solution to get six-pack abs from home in no time? Continue reading and you will be much closer to finally having six-pack abs.

But first, let me share my path with you …

Why six-pack abs?

I remember watching Hollywood action movies as a kid and basically in every one of those movies the main character was a really ripped and agile guy with well-defined six-pack abs. The first time I saw one of them, I knew I wanted to get a similar physique.

Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live. Jim Rohn

Moreover, I grew up with two older sisters who made me realize that girls really like guys with nice six-pack abs. And trust me it’s no different with women. Please, don’t get me wrong, I know there are other characteristics that are far more important than the looks of a person’s body, but to have a nice set of six-pack abs on top will always give you a lot of extra points. It’s as simple as that.

You can be super smart, funny, sensitive – all in all, a great guy, but if you don’t have athletic physiques, every time your partner sees a guy with a six-pack abs she/he thinks to herself/himself: “I wish my partner had that.”

And why wouldn’t you have that? What’s stopping you? Do you know what’s great about getting in shape? Everyone can do it. It’s not like with the looks or the brains – there’s only little you can do about those (plastic surgeries aside), while every healthy person has the potential to build a nice looking body. It all depends on the effort he/she is willing to put in.

Benefits of working out at home

I don’t know about you, but I really prefer to work out in privacy. I don’t have any problems when it comes to playing a team sport, but when it comes to working out I really don’t like to do it in front of other people. Moreover, I’ve always believed that body-weight workout is all one needs to get in shape (excluding professional athletes).

Besides, nowadays most of us don’t have a lot of time to spare. By going to the gym you lose at least 20 min to get there and back home – that’s if you live really close to one. When we talk about working out 20 minutes is quite a lot. You can already do a very decent workout in that time.

Also, you won’t have to spend your money on gym membership fees. On average those are somewhere around $50 per month, which adds up to $600 per year.

Further, the human body is a complex “machine” and as such, it should be treated accordingly. What I mean by that is that the best workout routines are those where you train more muscle groups at the same time and perform complex movements. In contrast to using fitness machines, which makes you isolate a certain muscle group. I’m not saying fitness can’t or won’t get you in shape; it’s just that it’s unnatural to train your body in that way.

By performing the right kind of body weight exercises you’ll not only get a nice lean body, but also a very healthy one. And by having a healthy body your general well-being will also improve greatly. You’ll feel good in your skin, you’ll have more energy and your immune system will work like a Swiss clock.

Facts about six-pack abs

There is some basic information you should know about six-pack abs. First of all, you already have them. That’s right! Everybody does. The question is if they are visible or not. Now, the size of abdominal muscles and their strength are the two aspects you can train. Abs are actually very complex; the “six-pack” only represents a part of them. As such, they require a very versatile training to get the optimal results.

Secondly, to make them visible, you have to reduce your body fat percentage to about 10 % (16 % for women). The smaller your abs, the lower the required fat percentage for them to start popping out. That can be relatively easily achieved by performing the right kind of exercises and of course eating the right kind of food.

IMPORTANT: Remember you can’t control on which parts of your body you’ll reduce fat! You cannot burn stomach fat by doing crunches and sit-ups, it simply doesn’t work that way. You have to perform “fat-burning” exercises. However, there are exercises where you can burn fat and work abdominal muscles at the same time – those are the best kind of exercises to get six-pack abs from home.

Can you do decent workout routines from home?

For the past 6 years, I have been doing some kind of a body weight routine at least five days per week. I’ve tried most of body weight workouts out there, I even tried to think of some new ones and then tried them out myself. Over the years I’ve learned what kind of workouts work the best. I’ve also learned how to get a six-pack of abs fast.

And let me tell you, it’s not by doing countless repetitions of sit-ups and crunches. What is more, you basically don’t need to do a single sit-up to get six-pack abs. That’s right! Sit-ups can cause back pain and should be avoided as much as possible.

The key to success is the so-called High-Intensity Interval Training – HIIT. You cycle between different exercises, which enables you to perform them with the shortest possible resting periods in between. Once you get in shape, you can even pull it off without taking a single break – you rest during some easier exercises that take place during the routine. I’m not saying it’s easy, but it is highly effective and also time-saving.

If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. Fred Devito

That kind of workout really works great – if you ask me, it is the best workout you can do at home. Since it’s very intense you don’t need to do it for long – even 15 minutes could be enough. Ideally, considering a warm-up and stretching, you should set aside about 30 minutes of your time.

Are you willing to take 30 minutes of your time to get the body you’ve always wanted; to get the six-pack abs from the comfort of your home? And it doesn’t even have to be every single day; three times a week should already give you very nice results.

Moreover, especially, the male population shouldn’t just aim for a nice looking body. As a man, you should go for a fit, agile and super functional physique. This can be easily achieved by performing the right kind of exercises. Besides, there’s nothing manly about the guys that get ripped and care only about the looks of their bodies while completely forgetting about body functionality.

There are many different exercises that allow you to create the body you’ve always wanted and at the same time develop the coordination that will give your body the desired functionality. And the best thing is, you can achieve that from your home.

Best workout at home

Starting when I was 6 years old I’ve done numerous sports: athletics, karate, basketball, gymnastics, handball, tennis, soccer, archery, swimming, boxing and others. I liked them all and wanted to try as many as possible. And as you all know there are body strength and coordination exercises performed at basically every one of these sports. However, as I was growing up I had less and less time for practice so I’ve started working out at home to stay in shape. And honestly speaking, I did the best workout at home.
